Brooklyn singer-songwriter Ana Egge has a new single and video co-written with Irish troubadour Mick Flannery. The Ship is a modern-day sea shanty. Says Egge: “2020 stopped us in our tracks. We had more time than ever to consider our priorities and confront the results of our actions, personally and collectively. It is in our hands to put this ship on a new course. We can and we will. We must step up and out of the silence to transform our culture of complicity. If we are to defend ourselves and each other and protect this planet from our own ways, we must stop, and choose new ways to begin again.
